Pro Shooter Attaches A Mounted Clay Trap To The Front Of His Porsche Targa And Redefines ‘Moving Target’ Forever

I guess I didn’t realize this until watching the latest ‘Extreme Shooting’ video from Philip Thorrold but apparently for some competitive shooters it’s not enough to merely shoot skeet from a clay trap, they need a moving target that’s next level. In this latest edition of ‘Extreme Shooting’ Philip has mounted a clay trap to the hood of his Porsche Targa, one of the world’s most iconic sports cars, and he’s shooting skeet shot from his Porsche as it hauls ass around what appears to be one of the wealthiest estates in either The Hamptons of the British countryside.

If you’re not into shooting and/or cars then this probably won’t appeal to you, but if you’re into taking hobbies waaaayyyyy too far then I think you’ll dig this one for sure:

And because I like to do this with any action-centric video, here are some of the highlights broken down into animated GIFs:

I guess it makes sense that when you’re one of the world’s foremost skeet shooters you’ll need to keep pushing the boundaries of clay trap shooting to keep yourself ahead of the rest of the field, but I still can’t help thinking that attaching your already moving targets to a Porsche is taking things further than they need to go.
