This 4-Foot-5 Inch, 95-Pound High School Running Back Has Some Grown Man Moves And Can Play For Me Any Day

Adam Reed is a 4-foot-5 inch, 95-pound senior running back who balls for Florida’s American Heritage School. While he’s not the first string back, or the second, or the third–OK he’s the fifth string back who is used to provide a spark off the bench.

But the dude’s got game. And not in that “hey look at the little guy getting in the game, what a great story!” type way.

He’s a legitimate force to be reckoned with.

And he doesn’t play for some scrub team either. The American Heritage School has won back-to-back Class 5A state championships.

He told the Miami Herald:

“I’m a little undersized. But it’s whatever. I don’t let my size stop me from doing anything.”

Patrick Surtain, Heritage’s defensive coordinator and a former Dolphins Pro Bowl cornerback had glowing reviews on the little guy’s talents and work ethic.

“It’s special to see somebody that diminutive, being dealt a tough hand, coming out here and working just like any other person. We don’t even look at Adam like that because he’s Adam to us, because he puts in the work like everybody else. He doesn’t want anything handed to him. He wants to earn it. And so far he has. It’s good to have somebody like that on your team.”

“I want to win a championship ring,” Reed said, “and just play my role. Whatever it is.”

You got a spot on my (intramural flag football squad) any day, bro.
