Last night Seton Hall and Villanova squared off in a game that wasn’t very close at all, with Villanova winning 54-80. The biggest moment of the game came when Seton Hall’s Sterling Gibbs went after a loose ball with Villanova’s Ryan Arcidiacono, and Gibbs got himself ejected after throw vicious elbows right into the face of Arcidiacono.

He really thought he was going to get away with that? Like, he actually thought he could throw an elbow/forearm into the fact of a player on a team expected to get a #1 seed for the tourney, and nobody would notice?
Realizing the gravity of the situation, Sterling Gibbs almost immediately took to Twitter after the game to send out his apologies, of which Ryan Arcidiacono eventually accepted:
