Ryan Lochte has tried his hardest to supplant Michael Phelps as America’s favorite swimmer during the Olympics in London. This, of course, has made him an instant heartthrob in the eyes of many ladies looking to create a future medalist of their own.

His mother, of all people, revealed an interesting look into the swimmer’s dating habits during an interview with Today.com. It seems Lochte isn’t exactly a relationship guy.

"He goes out on one-night stands. He's not able to give fully to a relationship because he's always on the go," Ike Lochte told NBC's Today.com.
