If the torch in the NBA’s Western Conference hadn’t been passed already, it definitely changed residence last night as the Oklahoma City Thunder eliminated the Los Angeles Lakers. Kobe Bryant’s 42 points weren’t enough to overcome the terrific trio of Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Russell Westrbook.

The Thunder took the lead for good on Westrbook’s ridiculous and-one in the third quarter. After intercepting a pass, the point guard raced down to the other end and completed a circus bank shot while being bearhugged by Ramon Sessions. Degree of difficulty: 10.
