Ronda Rousey Thanks Fans And Declares That She ‘Will Be Back’

Ronda Rousey broke her silence after suffering a humiliating upset at the hands and the feet of the undefeated Holly Holm at UFC 193 on Saturday night. Rousey posted a thank you note to her fans on Sunday, said that she was “fine” and promised that she will be back. The former bantamweight champion said that she will be taking some time off before returning.

Rousey spent the night in a Melbourne hospital as a precautionary measure after receiving that devastating kick to the neck.

On Monday, Rousey’s trainer Mick Dolce told reporters that Ronda would bounce back. “Ronda has lost before, she lost at the Olympic games,” Dolce said. “That was a great test for her, and look at how she came back, she came back a multi-time world champion.”
