Ronda Rousey went under the HBO Real Sports microscope and sat down for an interview with John Frankel to discuss her career in and out of the ring and what lead her to the UFC. Rousey’s life story has some twist and turns — not surprising considering her chosen career involves beating up other women for sport — but Rousey has come out the winner thus far.
Frankel asked Rousey about her recent crowing as the most dominant athlete alive and Rousey explained how much that designation means to her as compared to the other reason she’s so popular.
“Sports Illustrated said pound for pound, you are the best UFC fighter, man or woman…”
It makes me feel way better than if someone told me I was pretty. If I was voted the ‘Sexiest Woman Alive’ it wouldn’t make me nearly as happy. There’s a sexiest woman alive every year. It’s once in a blue moon you see a woman at the top of the pound for pound list.”
So don’t call Ronda sexy. Even when she looks like a hot librarian.
