Ronda Rousey ‘Waited A Whole Year’ To Get Revenge On Floyd Mayweather For Snarky Remark He Made About Her

The UFC women’s bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey, admitted that her shot at Floyd Mayweather on Wednesday night at the ESPYs was a calculated one.

Last year, after the ESPYs, Mayweather was asked if Rousey could beat him up. Mayweather said that he didn’t know who “he” was when referring to Rousey even though they were both nominated in the same category and he has multiple MMA fighters signed to his promotion.

Ronda never forgot about Mayweather’s diss and patiently waited a “whole year” to get back at him.

“I knew for damn sure he [Mayweather] knew who I was, because he was running against me for best fighter that year and he had signed some MMA fighters “His feigned ignorance and his snarky remark. I don’t let these kinds of things slide. I’m a patient girl, and I waited to respond at the most appropriate time where I thought I could make the biggest impression.I’m not the kind of chick you make snarky remarks about. And so I waited a whole year to say something. And you know what? If I didn’t win Best Fighter this year, I would have waited two years or I would’ve waited three years.”

Here’s a lesson for Floyd to not mess with the baddest chick on the planet because she’ll get you back no matter how long it takes her.
