The bizarre story of Aaron Hernandez took another wild turn last night with allegations of PCP use in a Rolling Stones exclusive. According to the magazine, Hernandez had been using angel dust for quite some time after he began running with gangsters.
In exclusive conversations with Rolling Stone, those friends, who insisted they not be named, say Hernandez was using the maniacal drug angel dust, had fallen in with a crew of gangsters and convinced himself that his life was in danger, carrying a gun wherever he went.
Not to say Rolling Stones didn’t source their stories but man, this seems unbelievable. NFL players are tested constantly and completely at random, both in and out of season. Are we to believe that Hernandez hadn’t been tested for a lengthy period of time? Are we to believe that PCP just disappears from your system after a few tinkles in the toilet?
Something’s not adding up here. Either the timeline is off or the NFL needs to beef up their testing.
