Patriot’s owner Robert Kraft started off The Patriots Super Bowl media availability by firing shots at the media. Kraft blamed the media for irresponsible “media leaks” instead of “data and hard facts” that lead the public to jump to certain conclusions.
Kraft said that he’s confident that the “science of how game balls react to the change in the environment” will absolve the Patriots of any wrongdoing and expects the NFL to apologize to the Patriots, specifically Tom Brady and Bill Belichick for what they’ve had to endure in the past week.
Kraft ended the press conference by saying that the Patriots organization believes in the rules of fair play being properly, equitably and fairly enforced.
