Can you imagine what it must have been like to grow up in the Ryan household? Just a constant dick-measuring contest, I bet.

Rob Ryan was sent packing by the Dallas Cowboys yesterday. The defensive coordinator and potential Jeff Bridges movie stand-in was less than pleased.

"I inherited a team that was 31st in the league in defense and made them better," Ryan told ESPNDallas.com's Tim MacMahon. "I (expletive) made them a hell of a lot better. I'll be out of work for like five minutes."

That was more than 12 hours ago. If Ryan has found new employment, it’s news to everyone.

On the bright side, he’ll have more time to spend with his beloved van.
