This Ray Rice assault video is awfully disturbing

Ravens running back Ray Rice was arrested over the weekend after a “minor” domestic spat with his fiancee at an Atlantic City casino. Turns out it wasn’t so “minor.” Video has emerged showing Rice dragging her from an elevator. She appears to be unconscious (or drunk). This doesn’t look good.

Sure, this is a snapshot in time. A cellphone video taken from a security camera. We don’t know what happened after, we certainly don’t know what happened before.

But I think we can put to bed the notion that his was a “minor” incident. Ain’t nothing minor about dragging somebody through a hotel lobby as they’re passed out. Unless, of course, you’re these guys.
