For all I know, French soccer player Nolan Roux—who plays midfielder for AS Saint-Etienne—is generally a nice guy. But, seeing as how I’m big off of first impressions, Roux is a total fucking dickhead until proven otherwise.
During a match against ASA Tirgu Mures, Roux, out of complete frustration, decided that drilling a soccer ball towards the crowd was a brilliant idea.

“”Funny thing, though, a ball boy who was standing on the sideline was in the way of the shot, and got fucking drilled in the head from the powerful boot, which had to have left him with quite the headache.
And while it would be common courtesy to see if the kid was OK, Roux figured it was just best if he got back to the business on the field, running around as if nothing happened at all. Prick.

Of course, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen a ball boy endure some hate from the players on the field, as Joe Hart demanded he got a new ball during last year’s World Cup in quite the aggressive manner, as well as that time Eden Hazard kicked the fuck out of a kid during a Premier League match a couple years ago.
Man, I used to think that being a ball boy would be the raddest job when I was a kid. But after seeing these clips, it just seems like the best way to be picked on and, possibly, end up with some bruises.
