Pittsburgh Pirates Prove That ‘Family Matters’ In This Impeccable Mash-Up Vid

I don’t know when it happened, but, after 20 years of missing the playoffs and a horrid display of baseball, the Pittsburgh Pirates suddenly turned shit around and have made it to the past two postseasons.

Currently holding down the top NL Wild Card spot, it looks like the Buccos are on their way back to playing October baseball again.

With the resurgence in the Steel City for the baseball team, fans have developed Pirate fever, relating this squad to the famous “We Are Family” World Series champion team in 1979.

After some San Francisco Giants took part in a Full House-themed video last week, a few Pirates were included in this hilarious Family Matters mash-up, with Carl Winslow even making a surprise appearance at the end, sort of.

The only thing wrong with the Pirates video? WHERE IN THE FUCK IS STEVE URKEL? Dude was the biggest nerd of any ’90s sitcom—which is probably why no Pirates player would be too happy identifying as him.

Maybe they’re just hoping for Stefan Urquelle-like swag instead.
