Former National League MVP and Pittsburgh Pirates star Andrew McCutchen has always been known for a couple of things: his unbelievable baseball skills and his shoulder-length dreadlocks. In fact, he has been growing those iconic dreads for nearly eight years, but today he decided it was finally time for a change — he went for a haircut, and released a video detailing the event:
For a comparison, here’s McCutchen pre-haircut:

His hair will be auctioned off on MLB.com and the proceeds will go to Pirates Charities — while it’s weird to think of someone purchasing his hair and probably stuffing it in a jar somewhere, why not raise some money for a good cause?
