Here Are The Photographs Showing Why Dallas Cowboys Player Greg Hardy Was Arrested For Assaulting His Girlfriend

Thanks to Deadspin, NFL fans can now see the damage that Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy did to his girlfriend, Nicole Holder, causing him to get suspended by the league in 2014 and serve additional punishment by missing the first four games of 2015.

Hardy, who was arrested and charged with attacking Holder in May of 2014 and throwing her onto a pile of guns, had the entire case expunged the other day, leaving many wondering what actually happened—and Holder’s story on Deadspin will open your eyes as to what went down between the two that night last May.

Here’s an excerpt from the piece detailing Holder’s recollection, per Deadspin:

“It all happened very, very quickly,” Holder told police. “None of it really made much sense.”

She and Hardy were on the bed inside the apartment’s smaller bedroom, getting along fine, when Hardy started bringing up the past. He called her a slut, she said, and accused her of ruining their relationship.

“I tried to get up, he pushed me,” she said, “then I started fighting back, he threw me into the bathroom, I hit the back of the shower wall and fell into the bathtub where he pulled me out.”

And here’s the transcript from what Holder told Detective Faye Strother, per the same report:

And, here’s the 911 call from the incident, as shown on Outside the Lines:

Other police photos and the entire description of the night, which includes Greg Hardy’s side of the story, can be seen on Deadspin and I have to say, it’s both disgusting and sad to see something like this happen—especially since the case was removed.
