Los Angeles Angels rookie phenom Mike Trout is having one of the finest seasons a player has ever had. He may, in fact, win the American League’s Most Valuable Player award instead of Triple Crown candidate Miguel Cabrera.

This is him in a diaper, standing next to teammate Torii Hunter’s wife.

It was part of the Angels’ traditional rookie hazing that forces newbs to wear ridiculous clothing on a road trip. This year, they went for the living embodiment of the famous Dick Vitale phrase “diaper dandy.”

It’s further evidence that crippling humiliation mean nothing when you’re getting paid millions of dollars.
