Watching The Phillies This Season Will Be Tolerable Thanks To This Gut Busting 2,200-Calorie Cheeseburger

The Philadelphia Phillies might be the worst team in baseball during the 2015 MLB season, which is further exacerbated by the fact that they play in the same division as the team expected to win the 2015 World Series (The Nats). They’re projected to win only 67 1/2 games out of a possible 162 games. If you’re a Phillies fan it is going to be a grueling year, one that’s going to have you questioning ‘whether or not Philly is all it’s cracked up to be’ and ‘should I start rooting for the Yankees because I’m actually from Jersey?’ But you know all that already.

It’s not all doom and gloom in the City of Brotherly Love though, as there’s one one bright light on the horizon for Phillies fans: this 2,200, 9-patty, gut-busting Wayback Burger:

Coming in at a whopping 2,200-calories (your total daily recommended offering of calories), the ‘Triple Triple Wayback CheeseBurger’ is truly the MOST EXCITING thing about the 2015 Philadelphia Phillies…..That, and people are all jazzed up about the fact that they’re selling liquor in the stadium for the first time ever, even though by my count EVERY OTHER STADIUM IN BASEBALL sell drinks with hard alcohol. Why that’s something to get excited about is beyond me. I know Pennsylvania has weird liquor laws, but the Pittsburgh Pirates already offer booze so it’s really NO BIG DEAL AT ALL that the Philadelphia Phillies’ concessions are finally catching up to the rest of the 29 Major League Baseball teams.

There will be other Waybuck Burger offerings, all of which are going to bust your gut according to their nutritional chart:

So Phillies Phans, while you can’t look forward to winning actual baseball games (the Phillies are the WORST projected team according to Vegas at 150-to-1 to win the World Series, and projected to only win 67 1/2 games out of 162), you CAN look forward to eating this badass cheeseburger from Wayback Burgers:

The 2,200-calorie ‘Triple Triple’ burger falls in line with a number of other outrageous food items announced at ballparks around the country this season. For instance, the ‘Chicken and Waffle Cone‘ from the Astros, or the Milwaukee Brewers’ ‘Deep Fried Nachos On A Stick‘.
