Philadelphia Eagles Fans Punch Each Other In The Face In Massive Fan Brawl

When a fourth quarter brawl broke out between the Eagles and Redskins yesterday in Philly, everyone on Twitter just kind of rolled their eyes and said “typical.” Th City of Brotherly Shove has a reputation like that. What you didn’t see is the massive fan brawl that broke out in the stands of Lincoln Financial Field, in section M-14, where 700 Level blogger Enrico Campitelli was camped for the game. A brawl broke out between “six or seven” Eagles fans — note, not between Eagles and Redskins fans — over something probably as stupid as a spilled cold beverage. Not sure who ended up in the Linc’s enormous holding cell from this fracas, but it was most definitely ugly. Via 700 Level:

While many of the brawlers were hit in the face with force, an innocent bystander (mustache and sunglasses in the first video) received the worst of it when two men literally came flying down multiple rows of seats on top of him and crashing him into the seats. The initial thought among the crowd was some broken ribs.

Jackasses. I hate that douchebags like this give Philly sports fans the rep that we have, but that’s just the way of the world these days.
