Peyton Manning Breaks Brett Favre’s All-Time Career Passing Touchdown Record With 509th Touchdown Pass

Peyton Manning is now the NFL’s all-time leader with 509 career touchdown passes after finding Demaryius Thomas for an 8-yard score against the San Francisco 49ers. It has taken 17 years and 246 games for Peyton Manning to throw more touchdown passes than anyone in the history of the NFL.

The record is set to stand for a long time, the closest players to Peyton’s record are Tom Brady and Drew Brees, with 372 touchdown each. Both players are over thirty and aren’t really threats to the record, especially as long as Peyton keeps playing.
