During The Packers’ opening drive in Sunday’s preseason game against the Steelers, Packers Pro Bowl receiver Jordy Nelson injured himself in a non-contact play.
The Packers announced that Nelson had a knee injury, but did not specify the severity. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that Nelson’s initial diagnosis was a torn ACL.
The initial diagnosis on #Packers WR Jordy Nelson is a torn ACL, source said. Horrible news. Awaiting MRI results to confirm.

If this report is true then Nelson will likely miss the entire season.
Update: The Green Bay Packers have made it official, Jordy Nelson is out for the season.
