Wisconsin’s Frank Kaminsky today was awarded the Oscar Robertson Trophy for USBWA National Player of the Year.
You can debate whether he deserved it over Duke’s Jahlil Okafor.
What you can’t debate is that the trophy has one major design flaw. A very painful-looking design flaw.

The bauble is modeled after this iconic photo of Robertson. You’ll notice the photo does not picture any large object going into his backside.
Honestly, I’m not sure if winning it is worth the awkward photo op. Like, where are you supposed to hold it? At its base? On both of Big O’s feet? It’s really a no-win situation.
