Johnny Hoogerland is the Tour de France cyclist who went soaring into a barb wire pasture fence after Juan Antonio Flecha got swiped by a TV car. Video here. Though he finished the Ninth Stage, Hoogerland's injuries after incident were rather gruesome, to say the least. According to reports, after the race he headed to the hospital for 33 stitches to close the deep gashes in his leg. Check out the pic, via Via Sportsfeeder, after the click.
