The Michigan-Ohio State rivalry tends to bring out the worst in people, but in this specific instance, it brought about some good.
Grant Reed, a 12-year-old Buckeyes fan, was diagnosed with brain tumor two years ago. In order to motivate himself to beat the disease, he named it “Michigan.”
Sometimes hatred is the best medicine.
On Friday, Reed underwent his final chemotherapy session and vanquished “Michigan.”
Even a maize-and-blue supporter would agree that’s pretty awesome.
