No need, folks, to watch the next 30 minutes of soccer. The 2014 FIFA World Cup ended already and the winner is North Korea. So says North Korea’s state-run media.
That report there covers the People’s Republic’s run through the group stage, where (according to this translation) they beat Japan, 7-0; America, 4-0; and China, 2-0.
That’s dominance. And while the media has yet to report on the final, we can’t imagine they would build up the team’s group success only to have them lose in the final. So bravo, North Korea. Bravo.
The DPRK also won the 2010 World Cup.
