The World Cup hasn’t started yet, but it’s already bringing joy into our lives. Last week we were treated to the magical Beats By Dre hype video, which we all thought was pretty boss. In fact, I idiotically proclaimed all other World Cup commercials to be unnecessary.
But after seeing this masterpiece from Nike, there’s no doubt about which brand capitalized on current events with the most compelling content. Or of my own stupidity.
Phil Knight should give the team responsible for this movie short a large raise this very instant.
Take a look. This spot will undoubtedly be more entertaining than several actual matches in the tournament.
