The NFL’s ‘Color Rush’ Jerseys For Jaguars vs. Titans Have A Clear Winner And A Clear Loser (It’s Jacksonville, Duh)

So Nike has joined forces with the NFL in an attempt to spice up the notably mundane Thursday Night Football games with their new “Color Rush” uniforms. The ones sported by the Jets and Bills this week were pretty damn cool looking, I’ll give them that.

But the ones for next Thursday’s Week 11 matchup between the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars? Well one is pretty legit, and the other looks like the upholstery of my 82-year-old grandmother’s sofa.

Of course it’s the Titans’ uniforms that look half-decent because Jacksonville doesn’t win at anything. Who could have any qualms with this beautiful shade of powder blue?

Then like I was saying, my grandmother’s couch…

You have so many great colors in your logo Jacksonville! Why did you let Nike pick 1940’s revival brown/gold/whatever for your attire!? More like color rush me to the hospital because I just threw up everywhere looking at these things!

Wouldn’t these have been a million times cooler if Tennessee went all navy with powder blue gussets and Jacksonville went that awesome aquamarine color in the logo? That’s a rhetorical question because of course they would, Nike!
