New York Mets Pitcher Jenrry Mejia Did a Tremendous Dance on the Mound

By / 05.13.14

The big red NOT PLAYING THE GAME THE RIGHT WAY alarm has never gone off with as much force as it did last night during the New York Mets-New York Yankees series.

Obviously pleased with his inning-ending strikeout of Brett Gardner, Mets pitcher Jenrry Mejia decided to do some sort of backward jig off the mound. It wasn’t a full moon walk and it wasn’t a full grapevine. What it was, however, was exceedingly cocky.

In a fair and just world, Mejia would have fallen victim to sudden Chad Qualls Syndrome. Alas, we do not exist in a fair and just world.
