The Tonight Show
It looks like The Tonight Show Superlatives might be a segment that’s here to stay. This second time Jimmy Fallon has pulled it out in February — the other was the Superbowl — and at this rate, we’ll all be sick of it by March. That’s just the Internet being the Internet; we love a some topic or thing immediately and passionately and then we cast it aside like some gross leper.
I honestly hope we don’t get beaten over the head by this until we hate it. I think the segment needs to get shelved for a while because this was by far their weakest effort and even the crowd could only muster a lukewarm reaction to NBA stars being handed superlatives.
