MSU student celebrates Michigan loss with celebratory bomb

You know what’s dumb? College kids burning couches after sporting events. You know what’s dumber? College kids making MacGyver bombs after sporting events. A Michigan State student celebrated Michigan’s national title loss by tossing an explosive into a parking structure because RIVALRY.

A 19-year old student has been arrested and arraigned for allegedly creating and placing a makeshift bomb on the top of the Cedar Village parking structure at approximately 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to the East Lansing Police Department.

Cody Christopher Mastrodonato, listed as a mechanical engineering sophomore, was arrested and arraigned on one felony charge of placing an offensive or injurious substance on any property with intent to alarm. The charge Mastrodonato faces is a five-year felony.
