Milwaukee Brewers Announcers Buy a Beer for Fan Who Lost One During Wild Scramble for Foul Ball

Well, it’s only 8 a.m. but I think we’ve found the most inspiring thing on the internet today. It combines baseball, beer and selfless giving. In short: it’s beautiful.

During yesterday’s Toronto Blue Jays-Milwaukee Brewers game, an unfortunate fan had his big beer knocked over by a zealous fan going all-out for a foul ball. If you’ve been to a baseball game recently, you know that’s tantamount to dumping $14 down the toilet.

The guy seemed to handle it better than most would have in a similar situation and the Brewers broadcast team of Bill Schroeder and Brian Anderson decided to help him out by sending a replacement beer down. They even threw in a souvenir mug.

It was a classy gesture, but really, the only acceptable thing to do in Milwaukee, where beer is treated with proper reverence.
