A few weeks ago I lamented about how there's a generation of kids out there who only know Mike Tyson as a caricature of himself from The Hangover or a reference in a Jay-Z song. The heavyweight champ retired in 2006 and wasn't exactly in his prime in the years leading up to that. In order to remind the world just how great Tyson once was, HBO teamed up with Spike Lee to film a one-man show of Tyson talking about his tumultous life in his own words. It promises to be endearing in the way that all things Mike Tyson does are kind of endearing. Check out the trailer below.
Premieres November 16, 2013 at 8 p.m. on HBO.
