The Miami Heat Staged a Protest Against Donald Sterling

Taking their cues from the Los Angeles Clippers, the Miami Heat staged a protest against Donald Sterling’s racist comments by shedding their warmup jackets and wearing their shooting shirts inside-out before last night’s series-clinching victory over the Charlotte Bobcats.

The NBA announced it will hold a press conference regarding the investigation into the Clippers owner later this afternoon. Many are speculating the league won’t be able to drop the hammer as hard as public demand suggests.

If Sterling does, in fact, show up to tonight’s game against the Golden State Warriors, it’s going to get out of hand. One would think he has better sense than that, but then again, we’re not about to give him any benefits of any doubt.
