During last night’s 8-4 loss to the San Francisco Giants, which ran the team’s record to an abysmal 40-91, infielder Marwin Gonzalez sprained his ankle in dramatic fashion.

You know what, I’m not even going to laugh at this one. Good on Gonzalez for playing hard despite plying his trade for a team that’s 50 games under .500.
