Lloyd Carr’s 5-Year-Old Grandson, Chad, Lost His Battle With Brain Cancer And The Reactions Will Bring Some Tears

https://www.instagram.com/p/-cNTPLpJdF/The grandson of former Michigan Wolverines head football coach Lloyd Carr, Chad, lost his battle with a rare brain tumor at the age of five today, causing a reaction from the sports world that will surely help remember him for being a fighter.

After many supported Chad and the Carr family through the #ChadTough campaign, which included Big Ten rivals Ohio State and Michigan State wearing decals on their helmets during their game this past weekend to honor him, the sports world reacted to the news today, sending out condolences to the Carr family.

From UM men’s head basketball coach John Beilein speaking about Chad’s death at a press conference today to others tweeting out messages and using #ChadTough across social media, thoughts are with the Carr’s during the tough time.

Michigan takes on bitter rival Ohio State this weekend, but, for at least today, everyone has love for the Wolverines today after the awful loss of five-year-old Chad and we’ll all stay #ChadTough.
