LeBron Sent A Very Special Sneaker Victory Package To Spelling Bee Champ

Brilliant Gokul Venkatachalam was the champion at the 88th annual Scripps National Spelling Bee and he impressed the world, including LeBron James.

“”

The 14-year-old paid homage to his favorite player, LeBron, by wearing the superstar’s jersey under his shirt during the National Spelling Bee. LeBron awarded the youngster by sending him not one, but two pairs of sweet sneakers.

The Cavaliers savior mailed the young savant a pair of LeBron 11 Elite player exclusives from the LeBron James Family Foundation. Gokul, who’s been a fan of LeBron since he was seven years old, also received a pair of the LeBron 12 “All Star” signed by LeBron with the special message: “Congrats on being spelling ‘B’ champ.” The parade of swag continued with Cavs gear, Beats headphones and other goodies.

This is a perfect gift since Gokul is a bit of a sneakerhead and rocked Jordan XI’s at the spelling bee.

Game respects game.
