LeBron James was asked about being a heavy underdog against the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals. LeBron James does not see himself as an underdog–probably because he’s the best player on the planet and is appearing in his fifth straight championship series.
As such, this was his response.
Hey, you don’t say. A professional athlete who has confidence.
Now, you’ll likely see people bringing this response up should the Cavaliers lose to the Warriors. Because that would be super easy.
But what is he supposed to do in this situation? I’m serious. If he accepts the underdog role, then people will accuse him of planting excuses.
Really a no-win situation.
On a related note, I’ve never been more sure of anything as I am that the Cavs will prevail. Write it down in pen. Save it for later to show me how dumb I am.
