It often seems Kris Humphries can’t buy a break in life. The stench of a failed reality television relationship does not wash off easily. But the Boston Celtics big man had a bright moment at the end of regulation of last night’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Down by two points with 1.4 seconds remaining, Humphries took an inbound pass and lofted a high arcing shot as time expired. Lo and behold, it found the bottom of the net, forcing overtime.
The good times were shortlived, however, as the Pelicans went on to win in overtime.
