The end of The Players Championship was, to say the least, exciting. To say the most, it was REALLY FUCKING EXCITING and incredible and Rickie Fowler sealed his victory with the most passionate kiss I’ve ever seen. And that’s saying a lot, because I’ve accidentally watched my fair share of Spanish soap operas.
One of the unexpected stars of yesterday’s final round — at least to the casual golf fan — was Kevin Kisner. He showed his grit at Harbor Town a few weeks ago, losing to a hot Jim Furyk in a playoff. At The Players, his determination was no different. What was different, however, was Twitter noticed the size of his caddie’s larger-than-life calves and they instantly overshadowed Kisner’s larger-than-life play down the stretch. I mean, just look at these things.
