Kevin Durant donated $1 million to the Red Cross disaster relief because Kevin Durant is a great American. The Thunder star stepped up to the plate when Oklahomans needed him the most.

The donation’s one of the most generous I can recall from an athlete. It’s far different from those who give money to their alma mater or their high school (LeBron). This one wasn’t planned out. It was spur of the moment. It’s “here, go ahead, take my money and help people whose lives were ruined.”
Seriously, this guy’s the best. No more bad mouthing Kevin Durant ever you guys. EVER!
