Kentucky’s Archie Goodwin was nearly decapitated towards the end of their opening round NIT game against Robert Morris. As Goodwin broke towards the rim on a fast break, Lucky Jones came in with a WWE-esque clothesline.
Nope, can’t do that.
Not surprisingly, Jones was ejected for the foul. Because, you know, this is basketball and not backyard wrestling. Kentucky went on to lose the game 59-57. A sad ending to a rather sad season for the defending champs.
