People in Kentucky really have their priorities straight. Before the Final Four, we told you about the Craigslist poster who offered up a sensual session with his wife in exchange for tickets down to New Orleans. It probably would have been a good trade for the Wildcats fanatic, as John Calipari and the guys ended up cutting down the nets. It seems that putting one’s wife on the market in exchange for Kentucky basketball is a bit of a tradition.
Nerlens Noel, the nation’s top-ranked recruit, is writing a notebook of his experiences as the belle of the ball for ESPN.com. He recently recounted his time in the Big Easy.

I literally got stopped hundreds of times and took dozens and dozens of pictures. The fans were showing me so much love out there, and I definitely have to say that most of the fans were from Kentucky.
Now of course that had a lot to do with the fact that they were playing there, but I’m always just shocked at how dedicated Kentucky fans are. One man asked me if I wanted to take his wife homewith me, ha ha. I couldn’t believe it. I was like “Nah, I’m good,” but that’s just how insane the fans were down there. Great atmosphere.
The 6’10” center is expected to make his college choice next week. Syracuse, Georgetown, and of course Kentucky are the frontrunners. It will all come down to which program offered the tastiest slice of wedded women – as it always does.
