Josh Donaldson Dove Into The Stands To Preserve A Perfect Game Bid

Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Marco Estrada carried a perfect game into the eight inning this afternoon against the Tampa Bay Rays.

With six outs to go, his third baseman Josh Donaldson did everything he could to keep it intact by going all out to snag this David DeJesus popup.

That’s as good of a play as you’ll ever see under those circumstances.

Unfortunately for Estrada, the next batter, Logan Forsythe beat out an infield single to end the historic bid.
