The Los Angeles Lakers without Kobe Bryant are one big mess. They continued their losing ways last night, giving up 134 points in regulation to the Houston Rockets in Dwight Howard’s return.

That’s the bad news. The good news is Jodie Meeks’ impossible behind-the-backboard shot. It accounted for the Lakers’ first points of the game and, just maybe, provided a false glimmer of hope to be dashed. What fun.
