There are, thankfully, a good amount of athletes out there who are selfless enough to visit the sick kids who look up to them. You've probably seen dozens of the SportsCenter "My Wish" specials, and you might be a little jaded to it all by now. Which is fair. They're pretty saccharine.
This one killed me, though. 12-year-old Cristian Beasley is a kid with leukemia who's been given a VGo telepresence system so he can attend classes through, essentially a robot. He named it "Watt," after his favorite Houston Texan. The real Watt showed up at Beasley's house during school recently, and Beasley's reaction—Jesus, it's getting dusty in here.
