SportsCenter’s Jorge Andres had to apologize for saying Lin was “cooking with some hot peanut oil.” God, that is stupid. Yeah, it’s a dumb comment but was anyone out there really going to come pound down every door in Bristol demanding justice for an off-hand sports quip made on ESPN News?
Maybe. Who knows? It’s not 2012 anymore, no matter how good Lin plays.
