Janay Rice Refuses To Watch Video Of The Elevator Incident

Janay Rice broke her six-month silence in an interview with the Today Show’s Matt Lauer. The first part of the two-part segment aired this morning.

In it, Rice says NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell wasn’t being truthful when he said Ray Rice as “ambiguous” about what happened in that Atlantic City elevator.

“I can’t say he’s telling the truth,” she said about Goodell.

“I know for a fact … that Ray told the honest truth that he’s been telling from February,”

Also noteworthy are Rice’s claims she never saw the first video before it went public and that she can’t bring herself to watch the second, more graphic one.

“I refuse,” she said. “I’m not going to let the public bring me back there.”
