Is Barack Obama to blame for England’s quick exit from World Cup 2014?

I’m not saying Barack Obama is the reason that England exited World Cup 2014 with only ONE POINT, but I’m not not saying it’s the reason.

So the story is this: some jackass (Britons?) think that all black people look the same, and printed Barack Obama’s presidential mug on a $hit ton of coffee mugs thinking it was Three Lions defender Chris Smalling.

If only this was a bigger failure than England’s actual performance on the field we might laugh…but alas, after almost immediately realizing their ‘MURICAN sized blunder, they unloaded all the coffee mugs to a clearance reseller, and they’re reportedly flying off the shelves at this point.

Now back to my original point of ‘is Barack Obama to blame for England’s quick ext from World Cup 2014?’…Can we all agree that having the most powerful man in the world on the pitch would at least have NOT HURT England’s chances? Given their deplorable showing, I’m leaning towards it would have been a net positive.
