Over the summer, there was a running joke in the BroBible office about whose team had a better chance at beating Alabama in the upcoming college football season, with my Blue Devils and joePA's Nittany Lions vying for biggest upset of the year. I was of course joking and joePA was only half serious, but all along InternTim just shook his head at us and insisted that it was his squad — the South Carolina Gamecocks — that had the best shot at knocking off the #1 team in the country. His logic was sound, he argued his points well, and yet we still considered him as crazy as both of us.

Well, turns out InternTim was right. #19 South Carolina just upset #1 Alabama 35-21, completely turning the BCS on its head. Halfway through the game, I Tweeted: "Somewhere in South Carolina's stadium, Intern Tim is going out of his mind." To which I got this response from his girlfriend: "@BroBible Haha tim slept through gamedaay but he just txted me "whos next" so he's def loving life. GO COCKS!!!"
