The Worldwide Leader released this cool infographic yesterday that breaks down where college football's top players come from, and how the demographics have changed over the last 70 years. To find the info, they looked at rosters of the nation's top 1940, 1950, 1960, 1970, 1980, 1990, 2000 and 2010, and compiled the home states of the players who comprised these teams.
The finding? Pennsylvania has decreased in stature over the years, while California and Florida have become hotbeds of talent. And Texas hasn't stopped kicking ass for the last seven decades.
Puff your chest out, Texans. You win another thing.
